Sunsuper-food and Dr Lai Chong’s Canine Caviar for Pak Din’s and Mr Low’s dogs

We’ve given a set of Sportsmix adult dogfood (from our Sunsuper prize money) and Canine Caviar from Dr Lai Chong to Pak Din and Mr Low respectively.

 This is Mr Low.

For him, it’s 2 bags of Sportsmix dogfood and 6 bags of Dr Lai’s puppy Canine Caviar. Mr Low says there has been a new batch of puppies at the site.

Mr Low feeds 20-30 dogs and puppies abandoned by people on a barren piece of land in North Port. Initially Mr Low only fed them bread, but after his plight was highlighted by his daughter, Winnie, we supplied dogfood to him. Even so, it is not enough, and Mr Low has to still supplement with bread every day. Right now, we have enlisted PAWS’ help to do spay-neuter on site for whichever dogs Mr Low can catch. We are just waiting for Mr Low to get a sheltered place to do the surgeries.

Chew with the 2 bags of Sportsmix and 4 bags of Canine Caviar, collecting for Pak Din.

Chew and his friend, Wuan, have been helping Pak Din for quite sometime now. We have been providing dogfood and catfood his the 7 dogs and 8 cats looked after by Pak Din, and also subsidising the medical bills for his animals. Pak Din stays in Gombak where his area is, unfortunately, not dog-friendly. Some of the stray dogs that he looked after had even been poisoned. Pak Din, despite being homeless (he only stays in a shack) and jobless, finds it in his heart to look after these unwanted animals. His animals are all spayed-neutered at Klinik Kembiri. Right now, Chew and Wuan are helping to build a fencing and re-tile his roofing to make his place safer for the dogs. A few of our readers are helping with cash donations, too.
