A rescued puppy, saved in the nick of time (Leslie Guoh’s)

Last week, my friend, Leslie Guoh, texted to say a newly rescued puppy which her daughter had brought home, seemed very ill. The puppy was motionless, going down fast. She thought the puppy was going to die soon.

I advised her to quickly send the puppy to my vet for treatment. We will provide a subsidy since it is a rescued animal.

Leslie did, and today, the puppy is alright.

Here is Leslie’s story:

When first rescued.

I am so happy that the puppy yet given a name, just COME-HERE, comes out from her ordeal after walloping on very big fish and chicken bones 2days ago without surgery just what I was praying hard for her, ALL THANKS to the vet you recommended who performed a miracle with her very good sense and way about to bring Pup safely out of her predicament with laxative and Antacid for her gastro.

Pup was born maybe just a day before& was crying near rubbish dump without

its mother anywhere around, when found by my daughter Xiao Min & fellow

colleague somewhere in Kepong/ Damansara on Dec 27/28.

XM called me to help her take care for 4 days and her friend will take over

after 4 days.

Both these two young working friends never imagine they were to not able to

take over. So Pup stay with me since the day she came.

She grew up so fast. Xiao Min visits me or rather comes home every weekend

and she would exclaimed how big Pup has grown. Everyday, I will get people

interested to adopt her, as my other dog Lion, does not fancy having another

fellow dog as a playmate.

So Pup has to stay in the garden to stay out of Lion’s way. That’s when the accident

happened when I brought back half of my hastily eaten lunch comprising terrible fish

& chicken bones. Pup thought her luck must be getting better by the day and devoured

everything of the terrible BONES. I remember my spine chilled when I realized what

I had done and caused Pup this terrible fate.

THANK GOODNESS!!! I have Dr Chan Kah Yein as my spiritual friend and quickly

alerted her. Dr Chan responded immediately to my SmS for help and without any delay

I got my husband to help me sit in the car just in case I could not get a parking lot & I

proceed straight to the vets recommended by Dr Chan.

Here, I must place my Heartfelt Gratitude to the entire team at the clinic, the two helpers and
the two very passionate Doctors there, one of them who attended to Pup

really touched my heart with her sincere dedication and love for animals.

As I look at Pup recovering by the days, I have decided to let her be and not look for

people to adopt her anymore as on one hand my daughter and friend have saved her and

she nearly got killed by a mistake and then teh vet  & team and Dr Chan again

was able to save her again. This time I will not stand in her way to have a peaceful and

happy life again. Nobody should because I witnessed a very heart rending close-to-death

moments she went through and at that moment I wanted more than anything to help her come

through without any hardship.
