Here’s happy news to start off our day, from Christine Tio:
At 3.12am this morning (Christine has been looking after Stronghold throughout the night):
Even though the whether outside is cold and it is still raining right now but stronghold is keeping himself warm enough. It hurdles beside the warming pad and sleep comfortably. (my daughter said stronghold most probably is a baby boy because she noted there is a small granules thing at the private part). Ha…….
After feeding, I clean the private part using wet cotton with warm water, stronghold urinate but didn’t ‘poo’ (pass motion). How often does the little one should “poo” her business. Kindly advise. Thank you.
No poo is not as worrying as no pee. If on kitten milk, no poo up to 5 days is still acceptable. As long as the massage is done, poo will come if there are no complications. However, pee is very important. No pee for a day would warrant as emergency visit to the vet’s.
At 8.00am this morning:

I am glad to share this with you. Stronghold has open his eyes. Beautiful eyeballs, slightly watery, looks like crystal shining.
Have fed him. Giving him the first time, he sucks so quickly till the nipple of the milk bottle bubbles. Then, I stop a while, afraid that he takes in too much air, I let him crawl on the floor while I boiled water to heat up the nursing pad. Then I fed second time, he takes some. I rub his stomach with wet cotton, then I fed the third time, he sucks a little and turning his away to the left n right like shaking no, I’ve enough.
Read your mail about reborn. Does reborn happen immediately? All I know, from our ancestor and our parents, after passing away, the soul will stay around or waited for reborn in a place for at least 7 x 7 = 49 days.
I think it happens immediately, Christine. At least that’s what I’ve been taught.
Now, I am thinking. I believe any being that exist in this world surely has it’s purpose. If otherwise, why does the mother cat give labour at my house and not somebody else house? I think picking up the lesson of been compassionate and also to soften my heart is necessary. I am experiencing the similar feelings you have had before while taking care of the three infant cat. this may prepare me for a greater purpose in my life.
