Self intro : I am from Penang but work in Alor Setar, Kedah. I rented a house & stay in Alor S during weekdays & most weekends I will travel home with my 2 cats, 1 kitten & 1 dog in my car.
I always have cat food in my car and whenever I drop by Giant supermarket, alor setar.. I will feed the stray cats. There are lots lots of them.
I met a thai lady (married to a local) who feed the stray cats around the Giant supermarket area (I think she says about 4 to 5 places) everyday. She estimated that there is about 120 stray cats/kitten around d area.
Is there any way or Animal Rescue group/people around this area who could help – physically, financially and re-homing program ? Any contacts so maybe we could come together to figure out a way. Help needed, PLEASE !!
I wish there is someone like u in this region !!!
p/s Beside my 3 cats/kitten (all stray) & 1 dog (abandoned), i am now fostering a stray female cat from Giant & 1 male cat (castered last thursday).
I cannot bring d 2 fostering cats home every weekend, so I make sure that I prepare enough food & drinks and potty for them. Yet, I always feel guilty 🙁
Please, the poor strays need help !!
We have offered our subsidy should Ying Fong need to get any medical or spay-neuter help for these cats. But I think Ying Fong needs physical help first. Please forward this to your contacts in Alor Setar.
