DT just texted to say her vet informed her that Gandhi is infected with a virus that is fatal. His chances of survival are 50-50. They are doing everything they can to save his life. His leg is healing well, but this virus is fast-acting.
DT will visit later today and find out more about the virus and the disease.
Meanwhile, we appeal to everyone to please send prayers and positive healing energy to Gandhi-George.

The first vet recommended amputation of one or even two legs, but the second vet said a surgery would be able to save both his legs. The surgery was carried out successfully and little Gandhi was doing well.
