We have sponsored five packs of Sportsmix Chunk Style adult dogfood (18kg each) from our Food Fund (co-sponsored by Mr Samwise Gahdji) for the 20+ dogs that Mr Low Hong Hang feeds on a barren piece of land in North Port, Klang. These dogs are suspected to have been abandoned.
Recently, 14 newborn puppies were found abandoned in the same place and their mother had been poisoned. Mr Low bought powdered milk and feeding bottles and he enlisted the help of some Bangladeshi workers to feed them. All 14 puppies survived!
The problem of dog-dumping on this barren piece of land is quite endless. This is the reality of the situation. But at least Mr Low is helping to ensure that these dogs have the most basic need – food.
We help where we can, as much as we can.
