Dear Sis Chan,

This co-incidence took place on the day when the vegetarian lunch was
organised for AnimalCare charity.
1st July-at 7. 30pm: it is always been a feeding time for community
cats where I stay. Out of the blue, this kitten (Thong-lai) was
running toward me and I led him to my parking lot where I usually keep
foods and water for them to eat. Then, I went up to my apartment.
Around 10.30pm: I was at the back balcony of my apartment when I heard
a meow voice from the ground floor apartment. I noticed that it was a
crying voice from this kitten who kept running back and forth. Later,
I heard a lady screamed at the top of her voice that “No, cat, not
come in” and that was repeated for few times. I quickly went to the
ground floor apartment and I saw this kitten was rolling on the floor
(sign of trying to please a young couple to let him into their
apartment) and the lady’s foot was on either his body or his side for
not letting him inside their apartment. This lady exchanged a
conversation with her husband that she would not allow this kitten to
be in because they have a dog. I could not stand the scene but still
politely told this couple that I would take care this kitten and that
they should go inside their apartment, the wife was very please with
my offer, then she went in. To my surprise, her husband seems very
reluctant to let the kitten go, he carried the kitten and told me that
the kitten refused to drink the milk that he put somewhere next to my
parking lot. I knew that he embarrassed for his wife reaction and most
importantly, he read the message on the yellow T-shirt I wore to the
lunch charity. I quietly smile to him and took this kitten up to my
place, cleaned and fed him.
2nd July- lunch time, this kitten was sent to the vet for neutering,
deworming and vaccination (after surgical wound completely healed).
I would be more than happy if anyone is willing to adopt him (my H/P
is 016-3178195), otherwise, I will release him at my working place
since I usually feed stray cats. I would like to apply for a subsidy
and the amount of money that you agree with for reimbursement, I
redonate back to your MEDICAL fund.
Thank you for the opportunity.
Sukhi Hotu!

Would anyone like to take me home, please?
