Hi Dr. Chan,This female cat was found with a growth on her paw. The vet has
performed a surgery to remove the growth but mentioned that a biopsy
cannot be performed to determine whether it is benign or malignant
because of the nature of the tissue which disintegrated when it was
soaked in formalin. Therefore, it is not confirmed whether it is
cancerous but the vet says that there is a very high chance that it is
cancer. So, at this stage, I am keeping the cat in my house under
observation. I would like to apply for a subsidy for the surgery.Thank you.

At the same time, I would also like to give you an update on Queenie’s condition. The surgical wound was bleeding a few days ago but it is getting better now. She is also eating very well, much better than when she first came. 🙂Attached is the current picture of the paw.
