Oyie passed away this evening. We have fully sponsored RM150 for his treatment; 50% from our Medical Fund and the balance from Angel Inc. May Oyie be in a better place now.

To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>HiOyie’s (he received neutering subsidy from AnimalCare) diagnosed with lymphoma. he’s rebellious and an escape artist. i noticed he’s eating less these few days. But he has the habit of eating from every bowls available and licking from spoon with wetfood on it, so i might not notice any different in appetite but no different in behavior. he comes back only on meal time, last night when i arrived home near midnight, he’s in the rain shelter room with nose discharge and panting. i gave him bronsyp and lysine and caged him. he’s not eating. never had any health problem before. vet visits only for castration and vaccination.X-ray is done and shows there’s a fluid surrounding the lungs. kidney and liver is fine. tumor was detected in his lungs and that caused the breathing difficulty. treatment plan is to put him on drip, and try to reduce the tumor size with steroids. wait for 3 days before doing 2nd x ray to see the size of tumor before planning other treatmenthowever, oyie died this evening at 7.20pm. i already collected his remains right after received call from vet.also attached are oyie’s pics when he was first rescued in the market on 10th march 2011. an emaciated, full with oil kitten to a handsome muscular and still a heavy boy (4kg ++ just now). he;s memorable coz i personally rescued him after going back to the market few times to search for him after few unsuccessful attempt. he has been adopted before but returned coz he keep on escaping and being fierce to the adopter. he’s ok at my place but have that mood swing. other than that he’s adorableMas
