I have inserted 1 resit today for medical subsidy of this kittenboth were recovering well and had good appetitethis morning, while i was preparing for their meal. the orange kitten (i havent named him yet) suddenly coughing like he’s going to vomit. but nothing came out. immediately after, he’s panting and breathing through mouthget him to the vet right away. the vet already being informed that i’m coming with an emergency case and was attended right away.Taken to x ray and found that his left lung is collapsing while the right lung are ok. since he has difficulty breathing, it’s highly suggesting that something might have been blocking the respiratory route and thus he cant breathe wellDr suggested me to PTS him as not much can be done and to end his suffering, but of course i opted to try something else. vet suggested to put him on drip and steroid, in case there’s a lump, it may subside.while the vet is trying to put on drip for the kitten, he passed away on the table. since it’s so sudden, i ordered a post mortem to be done to know the reason. from the post mortem, they discovered an abscess right in the center of the chest. the abscess is blocking the respiratory route (from my understanding). the reason why it’s so acute is unknown.the lung sample are also sent to the lab to test whether it’s a virus or not (melioidosis in particular)attached is some pics of him while he’s with mehis sibling is doing well
