Dear Dr. Chan,

Thank you very much for the 10 bags of dogfood (Caliber brand),that Margie Tan and myself received today.
The dogfood will be used to feed the Bandar Utama Construction Site dogs and other strays outside a car showroom, that Margie Tan feeds.

Margie and I are very grateful for the donation of this dogfood to help us with feeding the dogs.

Kind regards
Susan

There are two groups of dogs:

(1) The construction site dogs (9 dogs left now) – fed by Susan and Margie.
(2) The dogs at a car showroom (2 adults and 6 puppies) – fed by Margie.

We have encouraged Margie to get as many of the showroom dogs neutered. She will endeavour to catch them. According to Margie, the dogs are still very fearful of humans and she has to leave the food before they would approach to eat.

To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>

Dear Dr Chan,

Hope you are well. I would like to request for more dog food for the Bandar Utama dogs and hope that we can receive some if stock is available.

I have been feeding a neighbourhood cat that comes to my gate and meows everytime I’m in the front yard to water the plants or feed the dogs. She’s an all black cat, and very friendly . She loves a belly rub and she’s so loving for a stray cat.

I would like to have her spayed and hopefully find a home for her, failing which I will release her in the neighbourhood.

I would like to appeal for neutering subsidy for this cat and hope to do it next week.

Thank you very much

kind regards

Susan

Dear Dr chan,

I am writing on behalf of Margie Tan Chin Lian, who is not well versed with the computer.

She is feeding some strays at a dead end alley just beside the Bandar Utama construction site, where we are currently feeding the 9 dogs. She has been feeding these dogs before I met her.

There is a mama dog and her young offspring , who live in the small clearing there and sometimes they emerge from a small opening in the corrugated fencing. There is also a pack of 3-4 dogs who also hang around there in search of food and she also leaves food for them.

If they are not there and she spots them wandering the streets, she”ll stop the car and put food down for them.So it’s not everyday that she meets the wandering pack, but mama dog and baby are there.

There were 5 adult dogs that Margie was feeding at a car showroom just on the LDP motorway, but unfortunately 2 were killed recently when they wandered on the busy road.

We have successfully caught the only friendly one, and sent her to be spayed, and while at the clinic, I casually asked one of the ladies waiting to see the vet if she’d be interested to adopt the dog and within a week the dog was adopted.!

Now she feeds 2 adult dogs, and 6 puppies.

She has been feeding them for more than a year now, they are happy to see her but it has been impossible to get close enough to even touch them.

I have seen the puppies and they scuttle away into the undergrowth just alongside a huge monsoon drain.

We are trying to enlist the help of the security guards at the showroom to help us catch
the puppies.. and the mama dog too.

Margie is hoping that she will be able to get some help with the neutering of the dogs and also with food subsidy.

kind regards

Hi Dr Chan,

Margie and I still do feed the construction site dogs, and as I mentioned to you she also feeds other strays , it would be better if she applied for food to feed these strays .

We do help each other out and work as a team to help these strays, whether its feeding them , taking them to the vet , and twice we frantically rushed down to PAWS in search of dogs that were taken by MPPJ from the orang asli housing estate where Margie volunteers.
Happily we found the dogs on 2 different occasions.
If there is any other information that you may require please feel free to contact Margie, she will be more than happy to answer any questions.
Thank you for all you help
kind regards
Susan
