Medical subsidy for 1 cat (Pat Ong Swee Kim’s)

We have subsidised RM77.50 for the medical treatment of this stray cat, looked after by Ong Swee Kim in the vicinity of a coffee shop in USJ. This sponsorship comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM39.50) and Berjaya Cares (RM38). The total bill is RM155.

We have obtained further details from the vet. The cat was presented with lameness of the hind limbs. X-Ray revealed no abnormalities of the bone or joint. Suspect neurological problems. We have given Ms Ong the contact details of Lydia Telleson and hope Ms Ong will seek advice from Lydia if physiotherapy might help the cat.

Dear Dr. Chan,

I have received the RM225 for the three cats. Thank you very much.
Since the black and white cat didn’t show signs of improvement, Dr. Khor suggested x-rax to check for any damage.
Thankfully, x-ray came back and there were no fractures or broken bones so he suspects neurological problems.
We are massaging and exercising his left hind leg daily in the hope that he will be able to walk again.
Thank you.
Regards,
Swee Kim
