The total bill is RM280. We have subsidised 50% which is RM140 for the medication for Polar. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM60) and Berjaya Cares (RM80).

To: Chan Kah <chankahyein@gmail.com>Dear Dr. Chan,Last week Polar, a 10 month-old dog(yet to be adopted), had very high fever…. saw a vet who prescribed some antibiotics (after taking some blood sample from Polar) as she suspected Polar might have inflammation of the uterus..After 4 days taking the medicine, Polar’s condition did not improve..she was inactive and sleeping all the time… so I took her to see the vet.After testing her blood, the vet said Polar is having tick fever. Polar is currently warded in in Putra Heights.Dr. Chan, I sincerely hope your organisation will once again help me to subsidise Polar’s medical bill as Lacey had just recently burnt a hole in my pocket. Am sorry for this late reply cos am finding it a bit tough to cope at this time …Polar in Putra Heights and now I have 16 puppies ranging from 1 month to 4 months.I have to ensure that they are not hungry or they’ll play loud ‘music’ for my neighbours.

Polar is fine and she is now back in the house. She does not eat much but I think she is alright as long as she does not sleep all the time. I am continuing with the supplements for her to build up her strength… she is very thin now.I have duly filled and sent the form for subsidy for her medical treatment.
