Following our visit to Mrs Mutharam’s apartment on 24th August where I gave her a personal contribution of RM150 (from Tabs & Associates) to start off the spaying of the female cats (whom she keeps in a cage), we are pleased to share that Mrs Mutharam has managed to get two female cats spayed and both are doing fine now.
Her vet charged her only RM120 per cat (not RM150) so, as promised, we have banked in our sponsorship of the remaining RM90 to cover the RM240 in full. This subsidy comes from all donors through our Medical Fund (RM40) and Berjaya Cares (RM50). The earlier RM150 comes from Tabs & Associates.
We hope Mrs Mutharam will take the rest of the female cats for spaying too so that they do not have to be caged anymore. Her corridor is a very safe place for the cats. The males would have to be neutered as well later.
