It was back in March 2011 when Judy Chua approached us for help to salvage Imm’s Shelter: http://animalcare.my/2011/03/04/very-urgent-help-needed-for-59-cats-and-dogs/. Thanks to the generosity of our readers and well-wishers, funds came rolling in and Imm was soon back on her feet again.
It’s been more than 2 years now and even though we can now no longer support shelters with the implementation of our policies (where we can only help individual needy caregivers, not shelters, groups or organisations), Judy continues to update us with news from Perak on a monthly basis.
We are very grateful for this and very happy that some of our readers continue helping Imm with donations and necessities for the dogs and cats. The happiest bit of news is that we continue getting emails from young people volunteering to help out at Imm’s shelter (take a look at the photos below).
