  • Medical subsidy for beaten dog, Jackie (Lester Hiew Thiam Hock & Jenny Khong Chin Chin’s)

Lester Hiew called me yesterday regarding Jackie, one of the orphanage dogs whose family we have visited before when Lester took us for a tour of the many colonies that he and his mum look after. According to Lester and based on the wound, someone had probably beaten Jackie with a blunt object and left…

  • Plan B for Timmy

I plead guilty and I ask for no mercy. My negligence has resulted in Timmy gaining weight over the last two weeks. With the semester having started and having to leave the house early, I failed to monitor breakfast at the patio and Timmy had been doing his merry-go-round Musical Bowls stint again, resulting in…

  • A (motorised) bug invades Bunny’s Place!

A friend sent me a toy bug for the cats to play with. It’s actually a motorised bug, powered by a watch battery. It’s called “Wild Mouse”, but it looks more like a cockroach to me! According to the picture, even if it falls on its back, it will turn over by itself! COOL!! As…

  • Willy returns (from his secret mission)!

Mr Zurik has been coming for food twice a day, and each time, he would announce his visit by going on the aggressive with Vincent. But today, I heard a different yet familiar sound. Something told me that Willy must be back. I quickly went out to check and yes! Willy was sitting at the…

  • A new shrew on the block?

This shrew has been coming to the patio quite a bit and I’ve never been able to take his photo as he is just so fast, but today, he decided to make himself VERY visible to everyone. Tabs is usually the first to notice any intruder and she usually chases them away. I think to…
