Sasha was spayed earlier at the government vet (http://animalcare.my/2013/09/30/spaying-subsidy-for-2-female-cats-and-vaccination-subsidy-for-1-dog-in-penang-joyce-yeoh-swee-engs/) but developed infection at the surgical site. Sasha was brought to a private vet for follow-up and the bill is RM108. We have subsidised RM54.
Anabel is a new rescue with skin problem. Anabel’s bill is RM45 and we have subsidised RM22.50.
This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM36.50) and Berjaya Cares (RM40).

We have released one of the spayed cat into the alleyway where she comes from but still keeping the other one as her operation site is infected. I had to to take her to a private vet for further assessement as the local city council vet? just send me home and told me to go back a few more days as they could not removed the stitches due to the drainage from the wound. They did not give her any treatment. She was given 7 more days of antibiotic by the private vet and we have to keep her caged up. Looks like her wound is drying up, will take her back for review next week, can I claim subsidy for her medical treatment?My husband also picked up a stray pregnant cat a few days ago, she looked scrawny when he took her home, so we took her in to the vet for further assessment and according to the vet she has some skin problem caused by some bacteria. Can I also claim subsidy for her treatment as well? We are aslo planning to have Annabelle spayed after she has her kittens. As she is pregnant, she could not be put on oral medication so the vet prescribed a special medicated shampoo for the skin problem).Thanks and rgdsJoyce
