The bill is RM180 and we have subsidised RM90 for it. This subsidy comes the the AnimalCare Donors (RM40) and Berjaya Cares (RM50).

Subject: Flora stray pup
To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>The attached photo is Flora, female pup approx 1-1.5 mths old severely bruised after being repeatedly kicked. This lady who saw & stopped it + brought her siblings to safety, is in a rush as she has to leave for work overseas by 2nd week Dec. As such, she had them checked briefly at a retired vet’s house & brought them to me & my fosterer’s friend. We monitored injured pup condition, not good, somehow i am not convinced what the retired vet found is correct bcos he didn’t have necessary equipment to check fully. Since pup couldn’t poo for about 4 days now so I rushed her to another vet in current practice to be x-rayed. I will be picking up the bills from here onwards so i hope given the circumstances, i can apply for medical subsidy. No funds have been raised for her.
Thank you.

Subject: Update on Flora
To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>Dr Chan
Flora is scheduled to discharge by Friday. At this point it is only necessary to stay at clinic until then. Will post to u completed form & receipt once done. Flora will continue boarding at clinic as fosterer full. This extended boarding I will undertake to pay for. The receipt to be submitted will just be for her medical & necessary boarding while being attended to for medical & observation purposes. Abit concerned as from x-ray can see only her fractures but not bladder. By Friday, we will know for sure no injuries to intestines, urethra & bladder.
No funds raised for both puppies. I am really short as still need to.pay for blind Bob’s eye care & boarding.
Thank you.

Subject: Flora – latest pics
To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>Dear Dr Chan
Attached are latest pics of Flora. Fortunately a visitor at clinic saw Flora & helped to sponsor her surgery at RM550. Other costs ie antibiotic vaccines etc, all borne by me.
Flora had 2 fractures one which involved her femur. The other leg she tried to use but not this one with fracture near femur. Surgery necessary to help heal & regain use of said leg. A pin inserted & next worry is finding a responsible person to adopt her when she finally can walk. Today she had her bandaged removed, physiotherapy & one antibiotic vaccine.
Thank you. Will revert once cleared.
