A young woman, with Lush Cosmetics and Humane Society International do their part to bring much needed awareness on animal testing

As the article says, animal testing is often hidden.

You can, like me, to play it safe, don’t use any cosmetics at all (I use only cruelty-free soap and toothpaste), or use only products that are not tested on animals.

I learnt about animal testing when I was 16 and I decided then that I will not use cosmetics. In any case, back then, you could hardly find products that are not tested on animals. So, you attend a dinner without having your face made-up and people stare at you. Good that they do – you’re making a statement! And IF you are asked why, your answer can be this: “I really feel good that I don’t contribute to or support animal testing.”

Animal testing is VERY cruel.

Please do the needful. There are cruelty-free products these days. Choose these. Or better still, be a minimalist consumer! Use less. Want less. Need less. (Then, you’ll have LOTS to give!)
