  • Ginger in the morning

Ginger seemed fine this morning. I think he is quite angry that he’s been caged all night so he refused to eat. He just ate a little bit and started scratching at the newspaper in the litter box. So I took him out on the harness and he defecated on the grass. Of course no…

  • Ginger is back!!!!

It happened about 10 minutes ago. Ginger came back from the neighbour’s roof! I was calling for him from upstairs when I suddenly saw him coming towards Daffodil (Daffodil was still sitting on the ledge). I quickly brought some food. Ginger was not interested at all. Daffodil came down to eat. Ginger remained on the…

  • Ginger is missing

Updates at 10.16pm – I have contacted three communicators. One said to try foodstalls and construction areas. Just came home from searching all possible nearby areas that fit this description. We drove around and went on foot with torchlights. We could not find Ginger. This morning, Ginger was sitting on the patio chair, but he…

  • 25 quick and easy vegetarian dishes

Cindy Lim shared this: http://www.treehugger.com/easy-vegetarian-recipes/25-vegetarian-recipes-you-can-cook-under-30-minutes.html Cats are biologically carnivorous, dogs are almost-carnivorous, but many dinosaurs were vegetarians (like this cute little brontosaurus here) and humans, well – you have a choice (your teeth structure and the length of your intestines is a big hint!). Have a happy veggie meal and rejoice in your act of kindness!

  • Bunny goes to the vet’s (for his balding problem)

It’s been months and I’ve been delaying this trip to the vet’s as I thought it’s nothing that serious – Bunny’s balding. Initially, I thought he was just moulting, so I left it as it was. But the balding continued, slowly but surely. Today, I thought I’d better get the vet to check. I had…

  • Colony Collapse Disorder – it affects more than just the honeybees

Remember this? Bees are vital to life on earth — every year pollinating plants and crops with an estimated $40bn value. Without immediate action to ensure bees‘ continued pollination, many of our favourite fruits, vegetables, and nuts could vanish from our shelves and ⅓ of our food supply will be gone.  Recent years have seen a steep global decline in bee populations — some bee species are already…
