Spaying subsidy for Milky, cat with pyometra (Lam Poh Yin & Chan Sek Choo’s)

Norvem Chan is doing the emailing on behalf of Mdm Catherine Lam as the latter is not internet-savvy. We have spoken to Mdm Lam on the phone for the details of this case.

We have subsidised RM100 for Milky’s spaying (the surgery also took care of the pyometra).

Milky is a rescued cat, found to have pyometra (infection of the uterus, which is very life-threatening and requires immediate surgery). The surgery (an OHE, which is spaying) was done and the post-op check-up certified that Milky no longer has pyometra now. Since it is a a surgery and also a spaying (with higher charges), we are jointly subsidising this case with PetFinder.my whereby we will subsidise with our usual RM100 (for spaying) while PetFinder.my covers the other charges for the surgery as per their policy.

Hi Dr Chan,
Good Morning.
One of our rescued kitten was having problem, making a lot of funny sounds and we sent her in for check up and the vet found that she has persistent heat and abdomen is distended.
They recommend surgery.   She was sent in about 2 weeks or so ago and they did Ovariohysterectomy.
She was discharge a few days later and recoved at home.  We requested that the bill be issued with a report so we can submit to you accordingly.
Since we (Mdm Foong, Mdm Lam and I) were regular at the hospital, they allowed Mdm Lam to discharge Milky.
Thank you for your consideration.
Regards,
Norvem
