To: Chan Kah Yein <chankahyein@gmail.com>Hi Dr Chan,Good Morning 🙂I made duplicate copy of the Bill & Report for Milky. I will arrange for 1 set of originals to be sent to you and the certified true copy for Petfinder.my when collection is done.By the way, we still have 2 more rescued kittens for spaying. They are identical, which we think maybe be siblings coz not only they look alike but found at our housing area plus they have both been diagnosed as having asthma.Since money is tight, we are treating one first currently and will send the other soon. In this case, we shall ask for separate bill? Spaying to you and medical for asthma diagnosis/treatment to petfinder for assistance? Also, what is your suggest about how to get them adopted? I have gotten a few queries, but the minute they find out these kittens are asthmatic, they never call back to make appointment to view the kittens 🙁It will be really taxing to continue rescuing and having 2 asthmatic kitten to care for.Regards,Norvem
We requested for a photo of Sugar and Smiley together since they look identical and the photos are as below. We also advised Norvem that it takes time, patience and perseverance to get rescued animals rehomed. If an adopter does not want a cat because the cat has asthma, it’s best not to give the cat to the particular adopter. It is good to reveal all the facts about the animal (good and bad) to the adopter so that the adopter knows what he/she is getting and is prepared for it.
Rehoming is the hardest part of rescue work. It takes a tremendous amount of patience to wait for and choose the best possible adopter. We owe it to our rescues to ensure that they get to a good and safe home.
