We have subsidised RM100 for the spaying of Cat Cat. Mdm Loo and her husband, Mr Teoh looks after the community cats and dogs in their neighbourhood in Puchong.
Mr Teoh submitted the form, receipt and hardcopies of photographs to me in person today. I have advised him to email me next time, for convenience.
Also, since this cat is quite old, the vet suggested that a blood test be done and the cat be boarded for a few days at the clinic after spaying for monitoring. Mr Teoh agreed and he and his wife paid for all these extras to ensure the cat would be fine. Kudos to them for doing this.
The cat, in fact, had just given birth about a month ago, and all the kittens are being cared for by Mr Teoh and his wife. Now, the breeding will finally stop. Previously, the cat had given birth to many litters and some of the babies did not survive. Mr Teoh came to our event at Kinrara Metta and we shared the CNRM idea with him.
Looks like he is off to a good start! Previously he was only feeding the community animals. Now, he will get them neutered as well.
