Spaying subsidy for 3 rescued dogs, now adopted in Johor Bahru (Loh Chuan Chyi’s)

We have fully sponsored RM150 for the neutering of the male dog and subsidised RM300 for the spaying of the two female dogs.

Initially, we only received an email with photos of these dogs (without any message). There was, however, a phone number later, so I called but there was a communication problem as Mr Loh could not speak English or Cantonese and before I could revert to Bahasa Malaysia, he had hung up.

He managed to get his clerk to reply to our email and we have called the vet to verify the claims. The vet confirmed that Mr Loh is a very responsible owner.

Dear Dr Chan,

Sorry that hung up the phone as i am in Singapore recently so it might be wrongly press or network failed, hope you are dont mind.

I would like to claim a subsidy and below is the reply that require, pls refer the blue colour text:

1. Are these stray dogs?  How many dogs?  How many male/female?

Yes, they are stray dogs. There are total 3 dogs, 2 female & 1 male.

2. Where did you rescue them from?

I am rescue them from a playground in front of my home. As the times, they are still a new born baby dogs. It is always raining at the times and i found out that the baby dog’s mother is hardly to find the food, i scared that the mother will not enough breast milk to feed them. I am not willing to see this happens, as a result i plan to rescue them for a period ( until the baby dogs can find the food itself ). I find a place to settle them down and feed the dog’s mother. After the baby dogs can open the eyes, there are two baby dogs infected by bacterial ( maybe is flies). We bring them to doctor and applied the medicine on their wound every day. We fault us didnt find a good place for them and indeed we are really dont have any place to located them well. When they are grown up, can walk already, we tried to bring them to the stray dogs center at Pekan nanas & Gelang Patah, but rejected by all the Center as they are full of dogs.  In  this dilemma,We are no choice to bring them back. We build up a dog house for them afterwards. This is the reason we try to apply for this subsidy to help us relief some financial issue.

4. We need photos of the dogs awake (recovered from surgery). Pls see sample photo attached.

6. We need Mr Loh to fill up the attached form and post the form and original receipt to us.  The receipt must be issued in his full name (as per his bank account).
