Sookie’s Store collected petfood for displaced animals during the Kuantan floods previously. The shop is also a collection point for our free books. Izzy will help promote our cause to Kuantan animal caregivers and we hope to see more applicants coming from the East Coast in the near future.

I learn from Hazwani that Myanimalcare is also giving the neutering and vaccination subsidy to the rescued stray.I’m writing this email to apply for the neutering subsidy for Yuyu. Yuyu and her 4 kittens were dumped by an irresponsible owner at the back of my shop in the middle of the night. We managed to get all her 4 kittens, get them bathed, de-wormed and de-flea, and all 4 of the are now adopted by loving families. Yuyu escaped during the rescue mission 🙁However after a week searching for Yuyu, we found her, took her in and sent her to the vet to be spayed. Yuyu is now back and her scar is looking good.Just for your info, I did not receive any fund from any other sources.Attached is Yuyu’s photo, before and after the surgery.Thank you.best regards,Izzy
