Dear Dr Kah Yein,

http://animalcare.my/2014/07/05/universiti-malaya-cats-update-holstein-reunited-with-family/
Till date, a total of 11 kittens and cats (UMcat1-5 and UMcat12-1 to -6 are from Faculty of Engineering and the 12th residential college, respectively) have been neutered, spayed, ear notched and received basic medical needs from the UM- free medical package. Another 8 of both kittens and cats from 12th residential college are now at the vet clinic for their medical treatment.
Unfortunately, UMcat-5 (a sporo cat) had managed to escape after being with his fosterer about 1-2 days. While UMcat12-7 has multiple oral ulcers and UMcat12-19 has eye and skin infections. Both are at the clinic for their medication.
For adoption drive, if anyone interested to provide a life-long commitment for our UMcats then kindly choose the following options: 1. Contact our appointed veterinarian (Dr Wong Chooi Thing), Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Wawasan, Puchong at 03-58820755, 2. Write to us at cctin@um.edu.my, veeranoot@um.edu.my/nissapat@gmail.com or umstrays@gmail.com, or 3. Kudos to Universiti Malaya for setting a glowing example. We hope other organisations would follow in their footsteps.
