Today is Day 2 and it’s Mary, Terry and me.
In the morning, we had a good flow of visitors. Many were here to purchase the products which they had already known about from the blogposts.
Some, like the above, were regular visitors who would always drop in every year to support our work.
As with yesterday, it was heart-warming to meet those who had only e-communicated with me prior to this. It would start with them saying that they know about AnimalCare because they had communicated with Dr Chan before and describe the help that had been given to them. They didn’t know I was me until I told them!
Ms Ooi paid us a surprise visit and she came bearing gifts! Take a look:
Beautiful cotton cloth she had purchased from Penang again! Imagine the lovely blankets that are going to come out of these. Thank you very much, Ms Ooi!
The books were particularly popular as we had put them at a strategic spot.
This year, the tshirts weren’t as in demand as before. Perhaps it was the design? Or maybe the colour.
But the Bacoff Sandeo, Orifera shampoo, soap and toothpaste were!
(We’d already stocked up on more Bacoff Sandeo and the Orifera shampoo since they sold unexpectedly well yesterday.)

The Orifera shampoo and toothpaste sold so well in the morning that I had to enlist Connie’s help to get more stock for us.
So, Connie braved the traffic and parking to get the stock. Thanks very much, Connie!
By late afternoon, it was very quiet (in fact, too quiet for a Saturday).
Time to relax a little after a busy morning.
The books were all finished except for Here for a Reason as I had brought a whole stack of this title.
We closed at 9pm and tomorrow will be Day 3.
