I have sent you the original receipt as well as the completed form. If our request for reimbursement is approved, we would like to request for partial reimbursement, for the amount of RM75.

Early one morning when my I was out feeding the stray cat that I feed every morning, I came across a little black and white, female kitten Lil’ B, in a stairwell of the condominium where I live. I was led to her by her tiny cry. She was very small and crouched on the concrete stairs. I took her into the apartment and fed her and gave her water and left her in a large cage in the back room. We asked on several condominium Whatsapp apps if anyone had any information about the kitten, but no one responded. It was only after a day or so that she became part of our family and was allowed to roam around the apartment – quickly making friends with our long-term, indoor cat who is called Bat. One that first day while shampooing her against fleas, we noticed a swelling on her left, rear leg. We took her to the government vet in Cheras and they gave us anti-inflamatory tablets. I had already started giving her an anti-biotic (doxycillin). This was back in May 2016. It was time in August to spay her as she was around 4 to 5 months by then. We spayed her in August, 2016, at the SPCA in Ampang Jaya. We’ll bring her soon to the SPCA probably at the beginning of September for her vaccination. Then one week later we’ll take her to the SPCA to be homed. My husband is now a part-time volunteer with the SPCA in Ampang Jaya. He completed the Pet Care Programm on 13th August. We thought of keeping Lil’ B but felt that one indoor cat is enough. We thought there would probably be other times when we would see other kittens/cats and feel obliged to take them in and to care for them as we’ve cared for Lil’ B on a short-term basis. Having the opportunity of finding a family with a landed property which would offer Lil’ B an outdoor life, made us think that adoption was the best choice for us and Lil’ B. If we had lived on a landed property then we would surely have kept her.
