We have sponsored RM60 for the neutering of this cat, Miley.
Mary and Ree are sisters and together, they help as many animals as they can. I’ve met them often at the vet’s, always with rescued animals. I would ask if they are rescuers, to which they always answer, very modestly, “Oh, we are not rescuers, we just do what we can, help the animals whom we happened to encounter.”
And if more people would just help the animals they encounter, the world will already be a much kinder place.
Labels really do not matter (“rescuer” or not). It’s what we do that matters.
Together, Mary and Ree look after many dogs and cats, some at home, some outside.

Subject: Neutering of a homeless female cat

We sent a homeless female cat, named Miley on 19 May for spaying.
Attached is the single collage pictures of her before and after the surgery.
Ms Miley came to my sister’s work place in Klang, asking for food and we noticed there was a huge lump under her belly. At first we thought she was pregnant but upon closer look we felt a big lump, thinking it could be tumor we quickly trapped her to seek medical help the next day.
According to the vet, Miley was not pregnant and the big saggy lump was due to umbilical hernia. Sorry there was no picture taken on the big lump as we do not know her behaviour since it was our first encountered with her.
Her case was quite complicated. There were 3 blood clots on the membrane tissue (successfully removed) and also there were tiny lumps under her tongue could be tumor. We were advised to monitor her appetite and if she is eating well then best not to ‘disrupt’ the tumor. Please see attached photos.
She is the 10th street cat that we managed to neuter. As of today, her condition has improved and will be joining the rest of the ‘office’ cats there.
We hope to seek Animal Care Society’s neutering aid assistance for Miley girl.
