Thank you very much (September 2022 donors)

It’s time to thank all supporters and donors for their generosity and goodwill.

Donations have dwindled, and understandably so since times are bad now. If donations continue to decrease, we may have to consider the option of reducing our food aid since the food aid had always been a stopgap measure to channel excess funds and reserves. We will go back to our primary mission of providing aid for One-Street CNRM neutering which has been so since Day One. Even the vaccination aid was also a stopgap measure for excess funds and so was the medical fund which we ran many years ago until we closed it in January 2015.

Eventually, it will always fall back onto our primary mission – to aid in the neutering of street animals as this would be the most compassionate way to control the street population. It took the Netherlands 200 years to achieve zero stray dog status and that was done through neutering-and-return-to-colony supported by the government and citizens (do we have the support of the government in this – no, and the support of the citizens – only a tiny handful). Still, the Netherlands could not achieve zero stray cat as cats are simply so much more resilient and well…cats are meant to stay and do what they want, not what we want! So, their government totally supports and even sponsors the neutering-and-return of street cats. Kudos to them!

And where are we in our quest? In our infancy. But at least we are doing something, right? We have done this for 13 years now, and we hope to continue doing it for as long as we can, with your kind support, of course.
