I just received a call from Ms Amy, the Kota Bharu rescuer who has stepped forward to help in whatever way she can.
Ms Amy has already spoken with Ms Woon and obtained a clearer picture of what financial aid Ms Woon is able to provide for the dogs.
As it stands now, the plan is for Ms Amy to speak with feeders in a few of those Thai temples and see if the feeder is willing to help catch the dogs. Ms Amy will provide the cages a day before. Then she will take the dogs for neutering. But in the event that a medical problem is identified prior to or during the neutering process, we will provide our Medical Aid for it since it is done concurrently with neutering.
Ms Woon mentioned that she would want to raise more funds amongst her friends, but it would be for neutering. We will leave that to Ms Woon but in the event that funds are insufficient, we have advised Ms Amy to apply for our Neutering Aid as well.
According to Ms Amy who knows the condition of the dogs over there, many of them have skin problems or may have other medical problems. These would have to be attended to as well. We agree.
We would like to thank Ms Amy very much for stepping up to help the dogs.
