I was just chatting with a friend, asking her if I should share this article by Ronasina: https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/opinion/2023/04/10/lelaki-yang-menyayangi-kucing/
Ronasina is one of my favourite columnists in FMT. His writings are always insightful, intelligent, invites reflection and written in such powerful Bahasa Malaysia, and frankly, I read his articles to ensure I am still in touch with BM.
This time, he writes about his kucing-kucing kampung, how he and his wife rescued their first litter of kittens and then, the mother and it hasn’t stopped ever since!
It appears that he and his wife have chosen to live in the kampung. A wise choice indeed.
His cats do not seem to be neutered and my friend said perhaps I should try and contact him to see if he is interested in the concept and practice of neutering.
But I will leave you to enjoy his article and ponder upon whether he should continue letting his cats be as they are in the kampung or he should get them neutered!
What do you think?

If we ponder upon the article I published just before this post, it talked about letting pets be as close as possible to their natural surroundings so that they get to be who they are, who Nature intended them to be.
That being the case, isn’t Ronasina doing just that?
Having that said, if we live in the urban area, we absolutely cannot allow our animals to breed.
So, please. Neuter, neuter, neuter!
