Ms Ong already told me that Bernard had not been eating much for the past few days.
Her trusty worker informed her that Bernard passed away at 12.30pm yesterday, of old age. He wasn’t sick. Just old. Bernard was 12 years old.
Ms Ong rescued Bernard when he was 7 months old. According to an eye-witness, a drunkard had lopped off Bernard’s tail at a coffee shop.
A message from Ms Ong this morning: Heartiest thank you Animalcare, Dr Chan Kah Yein and appreciative for the donations (canned foods) for all my kids especially Bernard(12years old) he happily ate for about 4 months before he passed away yesterday.????????
