Updates on Milky, Cash and Fate from Survivor Shelter

Milky, Cash and Fate were taken to the vet’s today.

Here’s the updates from Ms Ong Siew Hiang.

Milky

According to Ms Ong, the vet says the blood count is “low” for Milky. Milky is now hospitalised under observation and blood tests will only be done if the need arises. The vet will force feed Milky too. Milky is 7+ year old male dog, not neutered yet.

Cash

Cash has hookworms. She is also hospitalised for treatment. Cash is 9 year-old spayed female.

Fate

Fate is the newly-rescued kitten that Ms Ong and her friend picked up from the roadside on their way into the shelter this morning. Fate has flu and mange in both ears. The clinic has a policy of not boarding animals with skin infections, so Fate is currently being fostered by the friend while Ms Ong is at her burger stall. Arrangements will be made either for another fosterer or Ms Ong will take over Fate herself when she finishes work at 2am tomorrow morning. Fate was given an injection and flu medication.
