Will the abolition of the death penalty extend to street animals too?

I know it’s wishful thinking, but we are still going to ask.

Now that the country has abolished the death penalty for convicted human criminals, will it, can it, be extended to street animals too?

Will the councils stop killing innocent street animals?

The death penalty for humans has been abolished for those found guilty of crimes.

Street animals are not guilty of any crime. Perhaps their only “crime” is to be born and to exist. Why are councils killing them for merely existing?

No one has any right to kill any living being unless you are a carnivore and you need to eat an animal in order to survive. Lions, tigers and cats are obligate carnivores. Are you an obligate carnivore? I don’t know…check this: Do you lick your water or drink your water? If you lick your water, you are an obligate carnivore. If you drink your water like a horse, a cow and a goat, you are not a carnivore. It’s a simple test.

Sorry for the digression.

We are currently still waiting for Selangor state to implement TNRM so that the killing will be reduced. When is it going to happen? The state elections are coming soon. Just saying.

The survey initiated by MBSJ was carried out with a resounding majority of the community respondents voting for TNRM aka no-more-killing-please-neuter. A forum was held. So, what is next now?

Meanwhile, let’s do our part to continue getting as many animals neutered as we can.

The councils and kill shelters cannot kill what they don’t have, right?
