I texted the clinic first thing in the morning to find out how Panna is. According to the assistant, Panna looked alert and stable. That was a relief!
Szetoo also woke up very early and lighted a candle for Panna to wish him a smooth and successful surgery and quick recovery.
Right now, Szetoo is already at the clinic. The surgery has not started yet. It will probably be done after the vet returns from her lunch break.
Stay calm and comfortable, Panna. So many aunties and uncles are rooting for you!
Szetoo says Panna has lost weight since last year. He was 4.9kg last year but only weighs 4.1kg now. Maybe that’s a blessing in disguise because with two limbs amputated, being lighter is better. There would be less weight to carry around on two legs.
Szetoo will most likely wait at the clinic until the surgery is over. We await good news.
Please keep Panna in your thoughts for the next few hours and wish him well.
Meanwhile, we are finalising the funds contributed for Panna. I just need to check if the TBA RM400 donation is for Panna as the donor did not specifically state it. Her RM200 donation is for Panna.
