Nomi’s update (Day 12 after surgery)

Nomi’s wound looks so much better today!

She will be boarded until her sutures can be removed.

The wound cleaning and boarding charges are covered by the caregivers.

The vet updated that Nomi’s incision site is quite clean, less discharge seen. Tomorrow if her incision is dry, her sutures can already be removed. Otherwise she is eating well at the clinic.

Photos from Nicholas, taken today:

We are so relieved that Nomi’s wound is getting better and that she is being monitored at the clinic.  Her journey to recovery is still ongoing. A diaphragmatic hernia surgery is a very major one and vigilant monitoring and care is needed until the sutures are removed and beyond. Nomi would still have to be confined with restricted movement for some weeks.

Get well soon, Nomi!
