Caku, a cat who benefited from reiki healing for kidney disease (a sharing by So Eileen)

This is a sharing from So Eileen, on her (now) 10 year-old cat, Caku.

Here is Caku’s story:

My cat, Caku, was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease with 70% of his kidney failing when he was 2 years old. Yes, it was genetic and it was imprinted in his DNA, according to the vet. He was on Semintra Oral Solution prescribed by the Vet, along with daily intake of Azodyl. Caku was required to visit the vet every month to have his blood test for further monitoring too. During this period of time, I was introduced by an animal shelter in KL to a local Reiki Healer Practitioner and Animal Communicator for pets, Daniel. That was when I was introduced and took an interest in Spiritual and Holistic Healing alongside with clinical treatments for Caku. Daniel himself has rescued a number of cats with CKD too.
Caku had 8 sessions of reiki healing (done remotely too as Caku is a very timid cat, he will be very edgy and jumpy with strangers and even with slight noises from his surroundings. He is the Scooby Dooby Doo cat version.
Right after his full reiki sessions, we visited the vet again with my finger crossed that he does not required frequent trips to the vet for his blood test too. (He is always too stressed out during his car journey and inside the vet too). His test result shows great improvement of his renal function and categorised with stage 2. He was then on Azodyl supplement daily and no longer required Semintra oral solution. He is not used to any wet food, fish, chicken, basically any meat nor raw meat. He was on dry kibble all his life when we rescued him at just 3 months old. Ever since his kidney disease diagnosis, he has been on Royal Canin Renal care. (He rejected other brands of dry kibble). He is The Fussiest Eater Alive 🙂 )
Since then I practised reiki healing for beginners and send reiki energy healing to Caku and pets under my care every morning; along side with their daily supplements; I noticed changes in their behavior first, their emotions and their energy levels picking up and therefore better able to assist in their daily medication intake and daily needs. The Reiki healing helped me alot in better understanding the emotional side of Caku and he is more open to healing and is very corporative with me in taking his daily medication and supplement without any stress for me and for him as well. I am encouraged to talk more to him, ‘nagging’ him often to drink water and he will gladly obliged. Animals can really understand our conversations with them but they choose either to respond or not responsive only. I learned all these tips thru reiki healing. He seemed to be in much lesser stress, and even corporate with me by opening his mouth willingly to have his daily medication too.I noticed when Caku receive healing sessions daily from me, I am able to better tune in to his energy and his needs and wants and therefore being able to monitor his progress daily.
During the MCO period, I brought Caku for another round of blood test. His condition remained stable as he is eating, drinking, peeing and pooing well. Due to very limited stocks of Azodyl as we were facing strict and limited import movements of imported medications from overseas, the vet recommended Caku to try on Amin Avast for cats. He responded well to this supplement throughout the 1 year of MCO period.
I continued with my daily reiki healing energy for him. I see positive progress in Caku day by day and in year 2021, I was introduced to Himalaya Nefortec by the Vet since there was no further deterioration of his renal and kidney function. An alternative supplement for his kidney issue is gentler to his body too. It is a 100% Ayurvedic herbal remedy. He responded well to Nefortec and no further complications arose when Caku stopped his previous Semintra, Azodyl and Amin Avast meds.
Since then, Caku has been on daily intake of Himalaya Nefortec supplement.
He can understand me from an energy level perspective; and we are able to interact and communicate with one another effectively. Most importantly, it is stress free for both of us while being on his healing journey ahead.
How often were the reiki sessions for Caku?
For Caku, I did twice a week because he was so sick at the time. He was not eating or drinking for many days, weighing around 1.5kg too. my My other dog, 7 Chai, my sister opted for twice a week cause she is a senior dog now and due to her recent CCD and weakened body Chi too (story about 7 Chai coming up next).

Oh, it’s common and normal that for the first few sessions after reiki energy healing is sent, you might notice that your pets will tend to sleep more during the day and night. This is normal. Daniel will definitely guide you through after each reiki session sent. He will update you on the progress after each session too. Do ask him any questions after each session and he will be glad to assist you too.

What is reiki?

Reiki is energy vibrations. Any recipient will benefit and as the result, the body will start its own healing cycle too. I never experience any so called side effects or negative effects from pets after each reiki session.
