Nomi and Miao’s updates

Our vet who successfully did the diaphragmatic hernia surgeries on both Nomi and Miao (sponsored by AnimalCare donors) often asks about both of them, whether they have completed their vaccinations and if Nomi has been spayed yet. I have not received any updates on both for some time now, so I contacted their adopters this morning.

Nicholas Soo replied to say that both cats’ vaccinations have been completed, but Nomi has not been spayed yet. Miao had already been spayed during the diaphragmatic hernia repair. Later Aline replied that they are considering getting Nomi spayed this weekend.

These are some photos Nicholas shared:

Pretty little Nomi.

Aline shared these photos later:

So happy to see both of them doing so well. To survive a diaphragmatic hernia repair is already very lucky as some develop post-op complications and do not make it after that. And the bonus is, both of them are doing so well and being so loved now!

Miao and Nomi, you are both so, so lucky!
