Updates on 17th Feb 2025: We have found a fosterer for this family!! More details coming up in a new blogpost.
The original post:
We received this request from Mr Koo KS <removed>two days ago and have been doing our best to look for fosterers and/or adopters amongst our circle of friends. Now, we are appealing for your help to widen the circle of friends and family so that we can find a safe home for this family.
This adoption comes under our all-new Subsidised Adoption Plan whereby we offer some financial aid to the adopter for the first 2 years. Kindly scroll down for details.
This message is from Mr Koo:
This mother-cat brought her 2 newborn kittens to my backyard and it has been about 10 days now. She comes and goes with her kittens. I pity them and worry about them, but I simply cannot adopt or look after them. I will be grateful if someone can adopt them and give them a safe home. Thank you.
Please contact Mr Koo at <removed> if you can help. Thank you.
AnimalCare’s all-new Subsidised Adoption Plan is available to the adopter:
1. This plan is only offered if the adopter declares that they are not receiving any other aid for this adoption and will be using their own money to look after the animal(s).
2. We sponsor the following for up to two years:
Vaccinations (in full, provided administered according to schedule),
Neutering (up to RM250 for cats, provided not pregnant and ear-notching is compulsory),
Medical (case by case, vet’s report required),
Food (RM50 per animal per month – see below for another option).
3. To qualify for the above, the adopter must provide latest photos and health updates of each animal by the 25th of every month.
4. Vaccination/Neutering/Medical aid will be reimbursed after receiving itemised receipts/invoices issued to the adopter’s full name.
5. Food aid will be banked in to the adopter’s bank account on the 1st of every month provided (2) is received the month before. We require a photo of the purchased food and the receipt. Instead of cash, the adopter may also request for us to purchase food that will be sent to the adopter’s house, only if in the Klang Valley. We also require a photo of the food once received.
6. The adopter will allow us to visit the animal(s) during the 2-year period.
7. If the adopter rehomes the animal(s), the plan ends.
8. If AnimalCare shuts down before the 2-year period is over, the adopter will be given a lump sum of the food aid (RM50 per animal per month) for the remaining duration of the 2-year plan.
