Today’s the day (mother-cat and kittens)

Today is the day!

I was texting with Mr Koo last night, discussing arrangements on how to get the mother-cat and kittens into the carrier today, safely, and then securing the carrier to prevent any possible escape – cover with towel, secure with raffia string or rope. We definitely do not want the mother-cat escaping after she is in the carrier.

Mr Koo has been looking after them very well, actually. Kudos to him for this.

For now, he can already touch the kittens and carry the mother-cat without any issues. His part-time maid can go near the family as well. All this is good.

We have Plan A, Plan B and Plan C.

Will update later.

Please send good wishes for a successful relocation to Joy’s house. Thank you!

Mr Koo was worried about the mother-cat’s bloated tummy. I assured him we will cover all medical expenses once Joy takes them over. Joy said maybe it’s worms. I think an ultrasound can confirm if anything is wrong. Or maybe she’s just a big cat, like Samantha. But mother-cat is eating so incredibly well, so we can rule out being ill.

Samantha still looks “pregnant” now, but she definitely isn’t! For that matter, Ginger always looks “pregnant”, but he’s male!

First thing first, get the family safely to Joy’s house…today!
