Joy took Mortzy & kittens to the vet’s for a check-up today and all three were given a clean bill of health!
From Joy:
Clean bill of health. Dewormed. Later will deflea mom at home. Vet okayed it. Kittens are both 400gms, Mom is 3.93kg, approximately 3 yrs old.
Both Simba and Snowflake are boys too!
However, Mortzy is still with a rather large tummy and even though the vet palpated her abdomen, nothing can be concluded at this point. The vet said to monitor her in case she is already pregnant again since Mortzy was free roaming all this while.
Female cats can get pregnant again very quickly because their ovulation can be induced by mating.
