Way back in 2010, during our gungho days, I made a trip to Selayang Pound to feed the dogs there and ended up rescuing 23 puppies out of the pound. Pepper was one of them and my kind friend adopted her.

Pepper was initially named Husky by us, but my friend renamed her Pepper.
This morning, I received this photo from my friend:
Pepper will be turning 16 this year. According to my friend, Pepper has dementia and isn’t doing too well. But she is cared for very lovingly and patiently by my friend. She even brings her to work with her because Pepper needs around-the-clock care.
Kind adopters and pet parents are some of the loveliest humans in the world – to be able to extend love across the species and treat their pets as their own children.
To my friend – thank you so much for looking after Pepper. Pepper is very fortunate to have you as her parent!
