The amount for the above food aid is RM301.39. At the end of February, we had already transferred RM150 to Joy as our food aid for March 2025 under the Subsidised Adoption Plan, but Joy had not bought any food with it yet. After discussion, Joy prefers that we use the funds to purchase food instead so she transferred the money back to us. Hence, this purchase is around RM300 which is the total food aid for March and April 2025. Joy also requested tofu cat litter for Mortzy’s family so our food aid also includes cat litter or any other supplies that are required.
Under our all-new Subsidised Adoption Plan, our food aid is RM50 per month per animal. The plan also covers vaccinations, neutering and medical treatment (case-by-case).

A message from Joy: Received yesterday. Thank you very much!
Mortzy and family are all doing very well. Here are their latest video and photos:

The wet patches on the cardboard are water patches.

The grey tabby is Simba and the white one is Snowflake.

Mortzy & Family comes under our Subsidised Adoption Plan. It is only for adopted street animals. Theirs is the first family under this plan as we are trying out if such assistance might encourage more adoption from the street.
AnimalCare’s Subsidised Adoption Plan:
1. This plan is only offered if the adopter declares that they are not receiving any other aid for this adoption and will be using their own money to look after the animal(s).
2. We sponsor the following for up to two years:
Vaccinations (in full, provided administered according to schedule),
Neutering (up to RM250 for cats, provided not pregnant and ear-notching is compulsory),
Medical (case by case, vet’s report required),
Food (About RM50 per animal per month – please see (5) below).
3. To qualify for the above, the adopter must provide latest photos and health updates of each animal by the 25th of every month.
4. Vaccination/Neutering/Medical aid will be reimbursed after receiving itemised receipts/invoices issued to the adopter’s full name.
5. Food aid will be delivered to the adopter’s residence provided (3) is received. We require a photo of the purchased food when it is received. Other options can also be discussed.
6. The adopter will allow us to visit the animal(s) during the 2-year period.
7. If the adopter rehomes the animal(s), the plan ends.
8. If AnimalCare shuts down before the 2-year period is over, the adopter will be given a lump sum of the food aid (RM50 per animal per month) for the remaining duration of the 2-year plan.
