A message from Judy: Received with our deepest gratitude 🙏🙏🙏 Our deepest gratitude to you and AnimalCare Donors for the petfood received today. The petfood couldn’t have arrived on a better day. It’s Imm’s birthday today. Imm continues to care for all her rescued furry kids mainly by herself. Her shelter has been fully supported by kind donors and supporters since her appeal to you for volunteers and food aid in March 2011.
The shelter has been most blessed with funding, new donors magically appears when funds are low.
We will always be grateful to Kah Yein for the help she offered in March 2011 and whenever she sensed that we need support with petfood. The petfood received today from AnimalCare Donors is an auspicious start for 2026 for Imm and her furry kids. May Imm continues to care for her furry babes free from financial stress and worry. May all donors and volunteers, past and present, be blessed with peace and joy for their kindness and generosity.

Imm’s Shelter is home to 23 dogs and 14 cats in Ipoh. They are also looking after 4 CNRM dogs outside the shelter. All their animals have been neutered except for a newly-rescued kitten in October, Tinkerbell, whose neutering has been scheduled for next month. Sick animals are all given proper medical treatment. The shelter is managed by Oei Phaik Imm, Judy Chua and three volunteers. Ever since we first extended our help to them in March 2011, they have sent us regular and detailed updates.

Judy Chua says they would really appreciate it very much if anyone is interested to volunteer at the shelter with bathing the dogs or help with cleaning. Please contact Judy directly at jlchua15@gmail.com if you are able to help.

Here are some latest photos of their animals:
