A message from Judy: As always our deepest appreciation for the petfood from Animalcare Reserve Fund received this morning for Imm’s shelter.
Imm’s Shelter is home to 24 dogs and 12 cats in Ipoh. They are also looking after 4 CNRM dogs outside the shelter. All their animals are neutered, the sick ones are given proper medical treatment and if needed, fostered in volunteers’ homes until they are healthy enough to go back to the shelter. The animals are looked after by Oei Phaik Imm, Judy Chua and volunteers. Ever since we first extended our help to them in March 2011, they have sent us regular and detailed updates.
Last month, a lot of repair works had to be done at the shelter which ate into their monthly donations. We are glad we are able to help out with food for the animals.
