Winnie has a potential adopter whom I’m going to meet this weekend. Goldie had two e-mail inquiries but no takers. That’s why I would forward Amber’s pics to them in case these potential adopters were looking for a similar dog.
I brought Goldie to an adoption drive on Sunday yesterday. Besides putting her up for adoption there, my main goal was to get her used to strangers again and to associate them with good things after her past experience. I would ask everybody to feed her with the treats I brought and I’m happy to report that it worked especially since this was her first outing to a crowded area after her rescue. She was very shy initially with the tell-tale sign of tail between her legs but she did not show any signs of aggressiveness and later, opened up as she was introduced to many visitors. She even willingly followed a few of them who walked her away from me by leash and were wagging her tail happily. As a result, I remain confident that she would be eventually adopted and her young age (at 2 years old only) and beautiful look (not the standard mongrel) could only help her case.

Oh! Winnie is extremely cute. She has a sort of magnetic power in her eyes.
I'm very happy to inform that Winnie has just been adopted and I delivered her to her new owner at OUG tonight. I will miss her but will follow-up regularly to check on her status.
Goldie the mother dog is still available and an animal lover has identified her breed as an English Setter mix.
