Ignore the “small” minds

A few people who are doing all they can for the animals have written to me about those who only know how to criticise and pick on others’ mistakes.

I thought this advice from Mark Twain is so timely:

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”

If you have a passion to do something beneficial for others (humans or animals), just do it.  No matter how much good you do, there are bound to be those who are bent on criticising.  Ignore the small minds.  Focus on the positive.  Your energy is too precious to be wasted on small minds.
