Horsey, vaccinated

Lydia brought Horsey for her first vaccination yesterday.  Horsey has recovered so well (Lydia has done such a remarkable job), our vet could barely recognise her!

Horsey had also self-removed her stitches by now, so the vet did not have to do much in that department!

Lydia will continue to foster Horsey for a few more weeks until Joanne finds Horsey a home….soon.

Horsey’s leg was amputated some weeks back as it had a compound fracture.  Lydia offered to foster and care for Horsey until she fully recovers.  Actually she has.  Not only has Horsey been happily running around all over Lydia’s garden, she has also become quite people-friendly and is much more confident now.

That’s the power of unconditional love.

Horsey has been spayed and is still up for adoption.  If you would like to give Horsey a home, please contact her rescuer Joanne on 012-9061688.

I’m waiting for Lydia to send a latest photo, actually.

Horsey’s spaying is sponsored by us.  The amputation and vaccination is subsidised, jointly shared by Joanne and us.

By the way, Joanne and Lydia has renamed Horsey “Amber”, but currently we have another Amber being treated for TVT, so Horsey would have to remain as Horsey in my postings.  At least, for now.

Or, “Amber Horsey”?
