We do NOT spay pregnant animals

This is a gentle reminder as well as an announcement to those who are new to the service we provide.

We help in the cost of spaying-neutering stray and rescued animals but on the condition that the female animal is not pregnant

If your animal is found to be pregnant by the vet, we cannot sponsor the spaying.

I have seen pregnant female animals that were forcibly spayed by other people.  The female animal would defend her babies by fighting off the vet and even try very hard to escape.  She knows what is going to happen.  She is terrified.

I can only urge all rescuers not to have their female pregnant animals spayed.  Please consider the feelings of the mother-to-be.

Let the mother-animal give birth first.  As long as we still have funds, we will help you get the mother and her children spayed-neutered when they are of age.

Killing is not a convenient way to solve problems.

It never is.

Yes, I know. I have spayed my pregnant kitten reluctantly. I already had 23 and I find it difficult to manage their food and medical. Vets did advise me not to adopt strays any further.

But if I do not adopt them off the street in my area, who else would. I would be happy if anyone else can do the same thing what I keep doing. Otherwise, again the unnecessary "raping", pregnancy and unwanted birth, growing population and the cycle starts all over again.

I am a 50 yrs old single parent taking care of my aged sickly mom who just went thru knee replacement surgery on 14th March 2011, my 15+ yrs old school going son and my beloved 21 pets (I lost 2 of them recently to sickness as well as old age).

As it is, I am jobless for the last 5 months and had been surviving with my EPF saving. From this month, back to square one, fighting for survival for the sake of my family and my pets as well.

Still, my thirst towards "adopting and caring" for them doesnt change, I mean I cant change myself at any cost. I know GOD will understand my love & passion for these poor animals and wont let me down to struggle further.

I am sure he will save me at the nick of time when I am about to sink, no doubt about it.
